Intuit QuickBooks is an awesome tool for small business. They are quite clearly the 800-pound
gorilla in the small business accounting space.
Quickbooks is designed for small businesses. As your company experiences success, one of the pains you might
experience is that QuickBooks starts to struggle in one place or another.
Reports, Reports, Reports - QuickBooks comes with a great complement of reports, and out
of the box you can customize them… to an extent. If your needs go beyond that, we can help you develop reports
that include any set of data that can be found in QuickBooks. We can also pull in data from other applications
if that is what is required.
Time Tracking - If your business tracks time in QuickBooks, you have some decisions to make.
You can either buy everyone a full version, or you can use their hosted solution. The problem with buying
everyone a copy of QuickBooks is obvious. The problem with the hosted solution is several:
- Potentially sensitive data is out of your control
- Connectivity issues anywhere between you and Intuit's facility can deny your team the ability to
correctly capture time. This can cause a loss of revenue.
We offer a third solution whereby you use a piece of software on each team member's computer to capture time
segments, this works connected or disconnected.
This data feeds the same process as the other methods, leaving you in control of what time gets billed, etc.
This solution is offered at a substantial, per employee savings to either of the two other methods.
System Integration - One of the most common things we see is that a company uses an
industry specific (vertical) application to do its day to day operations. It then uses QuickBooks for some or
all of its accounting needs. We can help you move Invoices, Purchase Orders, Vendors, etc. between QuickBooks
and your other applications as your needs dictate.
